Cancellation & Refund
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through Travl.tech, a platform operated by Enginify Technologies Private Limited. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below in addition to the terms and conditions of the respective airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel service providers.
1. General Disclaimer
Travl.tech acts solely as an intermediary between customers and travel service providers (airlines, hotels, bus operators, ferry companies, insurers, tour operators, etc.). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or defaults of these suppliers. Any liability on the part of Enginify Technologies is strictly limited to the value of the booking made through our platform, less applicable cancellation or processing charges.
2. Accuracy of Traveller Information
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all traveller details, including full name, date of birth, and passport/ID information, are entered correctly at the time of booking. Travel suppliers may refuse service if details do not match official documents, and some bookings may be automatically cancelled. Travl.tech is not liable for losses or costs arising from incorrect or incomplete traveller information.
3. Supplier Terms & Conditions
Each travel product (flights, hotels, holiday packages, etc.) is subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the respective suppliers. These may include restrictions on cancellations, refunds, or amendments. In some cases, heavily discounted or advance-purchase fares may be non-refundable. Customers are responsible for reviewing and accepting these terms before completing a booking.
4. Cancellations
- Flight, hotel, or package cancellations must comply with the cancellation policy of the respective airline, hotel, or supplier.
- Certain bookings may not be eligible for cancellation or may incur high cancellation penalties.
- Travl.tech reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel itineraries if required by unforeseen circumstances, in which case refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per supplier policies.
5. Refunds
- Refunds, where permitted, are processed only after confirmation from the relevant supplier.
- The refund amount will be the ticket or booking value minus applicable cancellation charges, service fees, and other deductions.
- Refund timelines typically range from 1 to 10 working days, depending on the supplier, airline, or customer’s bank.
- Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method. In cases where the booking was paid through the Travl.tech virtual wallet, refunds will be credited to the same wallet and are not transferable to a bank account.
6. Limitation of Liability
Travl.tech and Enginify Technologies shall not be liable for:
- Service disruptions, delays, or inability to use the Site.
- Losses arising from supplier defaults, cancellations, or delays.
- Unauthorized access to customer data beyond our reasonable control.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or additional expenses.
In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the refund of the booking amount received by Travl.tech for the specific transaction, less any cancellation or processing charges.
